Provider account setup

Cerca Help Center

Getting started

1
Download Cerca and create an account. Choose "I offer services" or "Both" on the role selection screen.
2
Complete the onboarding flow: add your business name, bio, location, and your first service.
3
Upload a profile photo — providers with photos get significantly more bookings.
4
Set your availability so customers can see when you're free.
5
Connect your bank account via Stripe to start receiving payments (see below).

Adding and editing services

Go to Profile → My Services → Add Service to list a new service. You can set a title, category, duration, price, and deposit percentage (10–50%). Free accounts can list 1 service; upgrade to Cerca Pro for unlimited services.

Connecting Stripe for payouts

To receive deposits and payments through Cerca, you need to connect a bank account via Stripe. Go to Profile → Payments → Set Up Payouts and follow the prompts. You'll need:

  • Your legal name and date of birth (for identity verification)
  • Your bank account and routing number
  • Your SSN or EIN last 4 digits (required by U.S. law)

Important: use the same email address as your Cerca account when setting up Stripe so your accounts are linked correctly.

Tax information

Providers are independent contractors. Cerca does not withhold taxes from payouts. If you earn $600 or more in a calendar year through Cerca, Stripe will issue a Form 1099-K to you and the IRS. We recommend setting aside a portion of each payout for estimated quarterly taxes.

Upgrading to Cerca Pro

Cerca Pro gives you unlimited services, a Pro badge, top search placement, advanced analytics, a booking calendar, and up to 9 portfolio photos. Go to Profile → Upgrade to Pro to subscribe. Subscriptions are managed through Apple In-App Purchase and can be cancelled at any time.
